I recently had the chance to dive into a super fun retro-themed bridal shoot, and let me tell you—it was an absolute blast. Imagine a world of pink and red, heart-shaped cakes, and all the vintage vibes you could dream of! Styled shoots like this are such a great way to let our creative sides run wild. It’s not just about capturing beautiful images; it’s about bringing a unique vision to life and having a ton of fun while doing it. Working with such amazing vendors and seeing everything come together was a total highlight.
First off, the dress from Brick and Mortar Bridal was a total showstopper. The model looked like she was made for this dress. Naturally Flawless knocked it out of the park with hair and makeup. They gave our model those soft, flowing waves and a soft pink lip that screamed vintage glam. And then there were the flowers from Garden Party Florals. The red roses in were just perfect, adding a lush, romantic touch to the whole scene. Oh, and the cake from MOMA Cakes? Let’s just say it was the cherry on top—literally. That heart-shaped cake was as cute as it was tasty, and it fit the theme perfectly. We might’ve sneaked a slice or two after the shoot!

“Katelyn makes EVERYONE not only LOOK amazing in their photos, but feel good too.
She is a funny and down to earth person, that knows how to create stunning images that take you right back to the moment. The variety she got blew me away during our shoot, details of my ring, close ups, portraits, and wide shots without me even realizing that she was doing.
She is also the queen of detail photos on a wedding day… they are stunning and never disappoint!”
