College Station Farm engagement photos were extra special because Emma and Eric’s session took place on my own farm, just outside of College Station, TX. As a photographer, there’s something really meaningful about bringing couples to a place that holds personal value. The open space, soft evening light, and relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect setting for them to just be themselves. It didn’t feel like a traditional shoot. Instead, it felt more like spending time with friends while capturing their story.

Emma and Eric’s chemistry made the whole session feel natural and fun. Throughout the shoot, they were laughing, joking, and not taking themselves too seriously. They were super easygoing and open to walking around the property, which made it easy to get genuine moments. Those little interactions — the quiet smiles and the playful looks — are the kinds of things I always hope to capture. We moved around the farm without a strict plan, which helped everything stay laid-back and easy. It was clear they were just enjoying each other’s company, and that’s what brought the photos to life.

Since we were shooting on my land, we had total freedom to explore wherever the light looked best. As the sun started to set, we caught that soft golden glow that every photographer loves. It added a warm finish to the evening. There was no rush and no distractions, just a calm space to focus on them. Sessions like this are why I love what I do.
